This Christmas

 Denim Blazer: Thrifted
Denim Mini Skirt: Bought from Singapore
Black top: Random Shop
Sandals: Random Shop

Sorry have to add his picture in my blog. Head over heels in love with this guy

The holidays are meant to be a joyful celebratory time of year, spent in the company of our family and friends, a time of year for us to reflect on all that we have to be thankful for, and to bask in the warm fuzzy feeling of peace and harmony.

I was having one of those “missing my mom and dad so much days” now that the sidewalks are screaming "It's Christmas". I’m so happy to share that tomorrow I’m going home; I might not be able to blog for the next two weeks. I'll spend my days enjoying their company.

Miss my mom so much. I’m a ticklish person, remember her tickling me to death in the morning. When I woke up, everything were already prepared from my neatly ironed uniform to my polished shoes, from my breakfast to my “baon” in school. I am blessed to have her as my mom because of her I learn to cherish and appreciate everything about my life and life in general.  Life is too precious not to enjoy every day while i can.

Thanks Mom wait for me I’m finally going home this Christmas.

XOXO

Rockin in Pink

I spend P1000.00 bucks today. Thrift shopping in Makati is quite expensive unlike in other areas but you'll really find great designer clothes. Some of the clothes were not worn yet you can still see tags attached to it. I'm not into branded clothes to be honest it depends on the design and the cloth in my perspective. So here are the descriptions of what I bought today.

1. one white polo with polka dots design perfect for new year . Polka dots for Chinese are lucky by the way.
2. one denim shorts with cat brooch in one of the pockets and little diamonds sticked near the pocket area.
3. one black blouse with zebra printed sleeves.
4. one plain black with a straight little diamonds placed horizontally across the blouse.
5. one black dress with sequins and an anchor design in front.
6: last but not the least one blue and white sleeveless with leather straps.

That’s only P1000.00 bucks snatched from my pocket.  I'll take photos of what I bought soon. If I went shopping to the mall I might have bought only one branded blouse and since there's no budget for food left will eat at home instead.

You might think it's expensive for thrifted clothes yeah that crossed my mind as well, but I always thrift when it's “new arrival” so I have more choices. I love thrift shopping merely because it’s cheap and the fact that I'll be comfortable wearing that in public and won't bounce in someone wearing the same blouse and the same color as I'm wearing.

Anyway, since i don't have pictures yet of what i bought here's some of the pictures i wasn't able to post here yet.

Glitz and Glamour

 Black Dress: Thrifted
Accessories: random shop
Shoes: Parisian

This is my outfit last Christmas Party held at St. Francis Tower 1 in Mandaluyong City. My laptop just crashed and I urgently need money for repair costs since i don’t want to spend for this event I decided to tweak this old black dress lie forgotten in my cabinet. I stitched the neckline larger to give emphasis in my neckline. Bought the super glamorous necklace to add glamour in my looks paired with a three inches fabulous heels and voila that's it. Had a great time with my office mates they did not realize that I’m wearing an old dress. I won Female Star of the Night way back 2008 and I'm sooo excited to humbly share that I won it again this year without spending money to grab the title. I'll be posting photos of the event in my next post soon.

XOXO

Sparks of Life

 Floral Blazer: Thrifted
Mini Skirt: Thrifted
Inner sleeveless: bought from Singapore
Shoes: Charles and Keith

I just love anything that glitters, sparkles, shines or has mirrors and all kinds of colors.
I like pastels and bright colors and reds and pinks  and I could go on and on and on................Bring me the sparkly shiny stuff and it is sure to make me smile. This picture is another fan art i made. I don't like plain backgrounds that's why i add a lot of sparkling lights at my back. Hope you'll like what i did and thank you ladies for loving my last post. I wish the whole world were sparkly and glittery. Wouldn't that be so precious?

Mystical Blue

Black Blouse : Random Brand
Denim Shorts : Thrifted
Accessories: Random Shop

Is this where I want to be for the rest of my life? Is this all I want and is this all there is? Is there something else really exciting out there for me to do, try or see? You get to a point where you stop long enough to actually think and ponder about it.

Life is not so short any more. We have been blessed with additional quality time and it’s an opportunity for us to explore our “someday dreams” and make them a reality. But what is important is that even if you don’t want to join the popular club or group you don’t want to wind up sitting in a chair regretting what you didn’t do.

I can’t change anything if I don’t know what it is I want to change and for that I would like to thank
Dred for inspiring me and for pushing me to make my own blog diary. It’s a great relief to be honest. I’m happy that I have a new way of expressing who I really am and thank you for my followers and visitors though your quite many lol.. Thank you for all your support and sweet comments. Until then we still have a long journey ahead.Ciao ; )

Romantic Dinner for Two

 Sequined Stripes Top: Thrifted
Denim Shorts: Thrifted
Glittered Navy Blue Ballet Shoes: Thrifted

Celebrating the start of Hoildays with a Romantic Dinner for Two. I did not take photos of the food because it's all embroidered calories. I’m shy to share with you how big my appetite is for fat accumulating food. Getting obese for sure this Holiday season starting today.  I crave for food. I just can't help it. Anyway, diet will definitely on top of my New Year’s Resolution next year.  *Sigh*.

Happy Holidays Everyone.

In Stillness of Soul

Top: Thrifted
Denim Shorts: Thrifted
Bangles: Landmark

We will at first set aside time to sit in silence and solitude. We only need sit and do nothing, letting everything settle down, much like stirred particles in a glass of unfiltered apple juice settle to the bottom when we simply let the glass sit.

Within us there is a stillness and a sanctuary to which we can retreat at any time and be ourselves. Taking time to consider life’s lessons is an empowering way to acknowledge what has happened, and at the same time discovering how each lesson can make us stronger, more faithful and determined to learn more about ourselves.

Unmasking the Masquerade

Unmasking the Masquerade

A mask of plastic happiness often covers her sadness
Her beliefs hidden from most
Afraid of, but willing to face the unknown
Wondering where her place is in this life
She has come close to sharing herself
Never completely revealing anything to anyone
Feelings of invisible chains corner her
When she dreams, reality shatters before her very eyes
Accomplishments she strives for just at hands grasp
She feels lost sometimes, not yet finding her notch in this world
At times the glimmer in her calm eyes slowly disappears
But within her heart a silent flame burns her inside and out
She roams day by day, playing roles
Strength unknowingly resides in her
History repeats itself once again
The translucent veil she so proudly wears
Little by little answers will come, pushing it aside
One day there will be no more mask for her to wear
One day her beliefs will be known
One day she'll know her place in this life
One day she will share herself
ONE DAY this mask will be NO MORE
